The Granleys Residential Care Home is registered for 17 service users with learning
difficulties from the age of 16 upwards, each having his or her own bedroom. The
home is a large Edwardian listed building set in four acres of nature reserve.
At The Granleys a loving home environment is our primary objective. The registered
Manager leads a balanced team of suitably skilled and experienced staff, all receiving
regular and up to date training.
The home is designed for wheel chair users and incorporates a wide variety of specialised
aids to assist with baths, showers and inter floor transport.
The Granleys has a number of personalised services for people with learning disabilities. Each one of our services is focused on Person Centred Working which means that the support The Granleys provides has the person at the centre and the focus of our approach is on what is important to them.
At The Granleys we believe that these Person Centred Plans give us a firm foundation for support; enabling us to continually listen and learn about what is important to an individual now and in the future and to act on this in partnership with them, their family and/or representatives.
Our support is designed to help achieve positive outcomes for individuals. For this to be effective, we believe that individuals must be recognised and supported as active assessors of their own needs, planners of their own support and co-producers of their own outcomes.
The Granleys has its own dedicated web site with interior and exterior photographs at
